What are the system requirements for PQRS Workbench?
PQRS Workbench runs on Windows 10/11 (64-bit). Recommended specifications: Intel Core i7 or equivalent, 16GB RAM (32GB recommended for 3D inversion), 500GB SSD, and a dedicated GPU with 2GB VRAM. The software is lightweight and can run on laptops for field use, though 3D processing benefits from more powerful hardware.
What data formats are supported?
Seismic data: SEG-Y, SU (Seismic Unix), and standard 3D volume formats. Well logs: LAS 2.0, LAS 3.0, and ASCII. Horizons and surfaces: standard text formats. We can also work with you to support custom formats for your specific workflow.
Is there a free trial or evaluation version?
Yes, we offer a free 30-day evaluation license with full functionality. We also provide a guided walkthrough (remote or on-site) to help you evaluate the software with your own data. Contact us to request an evaluation.
How is the software licensed?
We offer both perpetual licenses and subscription options. Licenses can be node-locked (single machine) or floating (shared across a team). Custom licensing arrangements are available for enterprise clients. Contact us for detailed pricing.
What kind of support is included?
All licenses include email technical support directly from the developer. Annual maintenance includes software updates and bug fixes. For enterprise clients, we offer phone support, on-site training, and custom development services.
Can PQRS be integrated with our existing software?
Yes. PQRS Workbench supports standard data exchange formats and can work alongside your existing interpretation and processing software. We can also develop custom import/export modules or plug-ins for specific integration requirements.
Do you offer training?
Yes, we offer both online and on-site training sessions. Training can be general (platform overview + key modules) or customized to your specific project needs. We recommend 2-3 days for a comprehensive training course.
Is the software available in Chinese?
Yes, PQRS Workbench supports both English and Chinese (Simplified) interfaces. The user manual is also available in both languages.
